String Octet inspired by Stefan Zweig's novella "Brief einer Unbekannten".  The work was jointly commissioned by the Saguenay and Lafayette Quartets, which gave its première in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on 13 January 2018. The version for string orchestra was first performed by the Belarusian State Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Evgeny Bushkov, on 13 March 2019
